Katia Dayan Vladimirova, PhD - Chief Research Officer

Katia holds a double PhD in climate ethics and politics. She is a founder of the International research network on Sustainable Fashion Consumption (since 2019) and of Well Rounded (since 2022). With over fifteen years of research, policy, and business experience, Katia’s expertise in sustainable fashion consumption and social change has been featured in VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, Femina - and she was recently recognized as a top voice in sustainable fashion by RedBoxMe in Collaboration with Cartier.

Preston Thatcher, Associate Consultant

Peston is a degrowth and post-growth researcher and communicator from the United States, with a diverse background in environmental and climate fields. His experience spans commerce and trade, environmental litigation, fossil fuel research, literature, art, and philosophy—an eclectic foundation that naturally aligned with the multidisciplinary discourse of degrowth and post-growth.

Preston received his bachelor’s degree in English literature and French in 2021, and completed his master’s in Environmental Policy from Sciences Po Paris in 2024. Outside of work, Preston enjoys writing, playing basketball, cycling around Paris, and regularly staying up past his bedtime.

Atiya Hyder, Associate Communication / Events Coordinator

Atiya’s experience in the sustainable fashion/textile landscape spans from the manufacturing perspective in Pakistan, to the craftsmanship focus in Italy to the pinnacle of sustainability in Denmark. Her expertise lies in program management, communication and event coordination working with international organizations such as Global Fashion Agenda and the Ethical Fashion Initiative (UN/WTO).

Originally from Pakistan, she earned a BA in Textile Design before completing an MA in Textile Design, Innovation & Sustainability at Istituto Europeo di Design in Italy.
